THB now have a dedicated iPhone cradle for their “System 8” car kit.  The advantage of this kit is the car kit base is universal with user interchangeable cradles.


If you decide to swap your iPhone in 12 months time for a Blackberry or Nokia phone then unclip the cradle and fit the cradle for your new phone yourself.


Parrot’s top of the line kit for the iPhone, is their Mki9200 system.  This kit was designed for the iPod and iPhone, and will play all of your music through the car hi-fi, allowing you to see the album art on the detachable screen, while your iPhone is safely charging in the glove box. You can make and receive calls to any of your phonebook’s contacts with one touch of the control button and voice commands.

For what we think is the ultimate iPhone kit, we’ve combined the Parrot MKi9000 kit which is essentially the same as the kit above but without the screen, with a Brodit cradle specially designed to take the dock connector plug from the Parrot kit.


The cradle pivots through 180° to allow view of the iPhone in portrait or landscape mode. You can select a damage free mounting bracket for your car for the cradle so there’s no need for any holes in the car to fit the kit.

Music playback can be controlled by the wireless remote or from the iPhone itself.
