JLR Software Update

If your screen shows software update available and the car wont install the update this is due to the Ghost prevent it installing as the Ghost thinks the car is potentially being hacked

You ‘do not’ have to get the ghost removed just make sure you you put the Ghost into service mode and follow these steps

DO NOT PRESS THE BRAKES

PRESS START

ENTER GHOST DISARM CODE

WAIT FOR DOUBLE MAIN BEAM FLASH

PULL UP THE FRONT LEFT WINDOW FIVE TIMES

WAIT FOR THE FIVE FLASHES OF THE MAIN BEAM LIGHTS CONFIRMATION

LOCK CAR FOR 20 MINUTES TO ALLOW ALL THE VEHICLES COMPUTERS TO GO TO SLEEP

UNLOCK CAR AFTER 20 MINUTES

PRESS BRAKE PEDAL

PRESS START BUTTON AND CAR WILL START

FOLLOW SOFTWARE UPDATE INSTUCTIONS ON THE SCREEN
